Large Hadron Collider To Be Turned On Again. End Of World Now November-ish

Crap! Alas, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), will be turned on once again; and once again humanity will be exposed to the gremlins and witches that are inevitably created when the particles start colliding. We all know that the Large Hadron Collider stopped operating a few months back because of some horrible catastrophe (an electronic malfunction). From this point onward however, the LHC is totally ready, save for a few magnets that are not working. Oh by-the-by these are the same magnets that hold the LHC together by handling an excess of 7 trillion volts ; the 7 trillion volts are necessary as it allows our very smart scientists to open interdimensional rifts, essentially holes in the fabric of our universe.

A real lift interdimensional rift

So thank God for this whole magnet issue.

The big guys behind the LHC have decided to skip the magnets (because this saves money, not that money will be useful after the world is ripped in two) and continue operations by November 2010.

It is also no coincidence that the LHC has a huge similarity to that alien ring in Halo. Speaking of which have you checked out the new Halo game? You really should… seeing as how it’s not November just yet.
