Wii Files Some Bizarre Peripheral Patents

All that creativity...

Ever wanted to maneuver a skateboard while resting on a rocking chair? Well, you just might get your chance. Some very dedicated people with a lot of time on their hands at CVG have uncovered some extremely odd Wii Peripherals from the European Patent Office.

Imagine a Wii-Teddy Bear, a Jango style wrist shooter, a bicycle with Wii-Mote Pedals and a spankin’ Wii Rock Chair. But perhaps the most awesome of the bunch is a head brace/goggle set, equipped with a Wii-mote compartment. Such a peripheral would likely be used in headtracking for applications like 1st person shooters.
